If you follow my Instagram page (yvesofstyle), then you will notice that I have been excited about introducing acids into my skincare routine. I have been using The Ordinary glycolic acid toner, (and why did I wait so long to start using this toner?) I guess better late than never, and I now understand why it’s always sold out. It works, and it’s affordable.
With the glycolic acid toner in my skincare rotation, I was looking for more acids to add to my regimen. I decided to search for Lactic Acid Serum. I went on Amazon, browsed through and found a brand called Measurable Difference, the brand had Lactic Acid Serum but had one review, and the review was not of much help. So, with reluctance, I decided to get a bottle and try it and see if it will work for my skin. It was cheap, and at $9 I thought what’s there to lose if it worked for me, I will be happy and if it did not work, that’s a small price to pay. Boy, am I glad I took that gamble.
I can unequivocally say the Measurable difference Lactic Acid is one of my favorite skincare product. Your face is smoother and glowing after three days of use, I promise.
The ingredients in the Lactic Acid are Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Salicylic Acid, Sorbic Acid – With this brand; they do rotate their ingredients so one bottle might have different ingredients and your next bottle purchase might show different ingredients – don’t be alarmed, their ingredients work together very well to deliver amazing results for the skin.
Why Did I choose To Use Lactic Acid?
Lactic acid is a proven option for getting rid of hyperpigmentation by increasing the rate of cell turnover and improving the overall skin health. Lactic Acid is mainly recommended if you have acne scars.
Measurable Difference Have a wide range of serums from Vitamin C, Collagen + Retinol, Hyaluronic Acid serum to Glycolic Acid.
Since I loved the Lactic Acid, I decided to buy their glycolic acid and also try it – The glycolic acid serum also does a great job, but I think I like the Lactic Acid better.
The Lactic Acid Serum is light and has a water-like consistency, which seeps into the skin and absorbs very quickly. It does not leave a sticky residue on the skin which I highly appreciate. I am on my third bottle, and I am happy with the noticeable difference I see with my skin.
