Face Care Products For Oily Skin

I am so excited to share these skincare products. I have used these products to treat my oily skin and acne-prone skin. I used to get so oily that I need blotters or tissue to soak up sebum on my skin during the day. As a result, my makeup will look so shiny, and I will not touch my face because of the amount of oil on my face.

Now, I thank God for giving me oily skin because oily skin has excellent benefits for maintaining our skin. Oily skin is not prone to early signs of aging, and the oils in our skin help us maintain a healthy skin barrier. Balanced sebum production is the key; when the oil is in excess, the problem arises. So these products I am going to talk about will help balance the oil production in the skin, treat acne, and help to fade acne scars.

Let’s dive into the products –

The Ordinary Niacinamide And Zinc: The ordinary’s niacinamide was my saving grace in helping with my oily skin. I suffered from excess sebum, and without a doubt, by the time it hits midday, my skin will be shiny and sticky – not a comfortable experience. I started using niacinamide to fade my acne scars but quickly realized that it was curbing my sebum. After a week or so, I realized that the shine on my face has stopped, my t-zone looks healthy with no oil seeping out of my pores, and in general, my skin looked healthy and matte. I bought the niacinamide to fade my acne scars, but it helped balance oil in my skin. My skin is now healthy and normal, and my skin does not get oily during the day like it used to. Shop Niacinamide Here

Dr. Zenovia Clear Complexion: Dr. Zenovia is a brand that focuses on products formulated for hormonal acne. Their Clear Complexion Acne Solution System is a game-changer if you are looking for an acne system to treat your acne and fade your acne scars simultaneously; this acne system will be a good option.

The system includes a 10% benzoyl peroxide acne cleanser, 5% benzoyl peroxide acne spot treatment, and aloe vera blemish soothing moisturizer. Benzoyl peroxide is an active ingredient when it comes to treating acne. Benzoyl Peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne. They come in different strength from 2.5%, 5.0% to 10.0%. There is no evidence that the lower strength is more effective compared to the higher strength. Benzoyl Peroxide is a powerful ingredient. It is bactericidal, which means instead of slowing down the growth of the bacteria, it kills the bacteria on contact. The bacteria do not grow resistant to benzoyl peroxide, so this ingredient works as a great antibiotic. Benzoyl Peroxide penetrates deep into the skin to kill the acne-causing bacteria. Benzoyl Peroxide has a lightening effect, so you will notice that your skin is lightened and evenly toned after continuous use.

CosRx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser: This cleanser is one of my favorite cleansers for acne and oily skin. It is formulated with 0.5% salicylic acid and works to whisk away impurities and excess sebum gently. Salicylic acid is a gentle exfoliating ingredient that cleanses and exfoliates the skin simultaneously. Unlike glycolic acid that removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, salicylic acid goes into the pores to remove dirt, bacteria, and oil to clean out the pores and keep it free from acne-causing agents.

The CosRx cleanser works very well to clean out the pore, exfoliate the skin, and hydrate the skin. It is an effective cleanser that treats all types of acne.  Shop CosRx Cleanser Here
