The Effects Of Stress On Your Health
We all battle stress at some point, and stress can be debilitating if you don’t control it – various factors contribute to stress. These factors include workload, finances, life change, and anxiety. In addition, long-term stress can negatively affect your physical health. Also, the body responds to stress by releasing a hormone called cortisol that helps the body deal with a stressful situation. Unfortunately, too much cortisol will negatively harm the body. Some adverse effects may include high blood pressure, heart disease, weight gain, thinning skin, Cushing syndrome, and digestive issues.
The Best Way To Reverse Stress
There is a reason why they say “laughter is the best medicine,” and it holds true to its words. If you want to reverse stress, laughing to release the hormone Endorphins will help curb your body’s cortisol levels. Endorphins help reduce stress by relieving pain and creating a general feeling of well-being. In addition, Endorphins are mood boosters and trigger a positive feeling in the body.
So, if you are looking to reduce or reverse your cortisol level in your body, then it is best to raise your Endorphin level to keep a healthy body.

My Favorite Way Of Relaxing And Reducing Stress Is playing Games
One of my favorite ways of reducing stress is playing online board games. I always look forward to playing a game or two, and I recently discovered a site that has 1000’s of online games; it can be tough to choose which game to play, but I have narrowed my favorite games down to connect-4, Ludo, daily word search, daily crossword, and letter logic.
These games are very addictive and challenge me mentally, which I really like.
If you are looking for free online board games to play, plays.org is my go-to for all categories of online games.
Let Me Show You My Favorite Online Board Games
Connect 4: Connect 4 makes me think right away, it is a logic game and a strategic game, and it makes you think ahead because you have to know how to place your tiles to win. So it is very stimulating, and it automatically relaxes your mind. Also, it can get addictive, and you will want to win, so you have to pause and think long and hard about how to place your tiles strategically. In addition, it is a great hand-eye coordination skill and helps with brain exercise.
Ludo: I played Ludo when I was a child, so this game is nostalgic for me. In the past, I downloaded the Ludo app onto my phone, but after a while, it stopped working, so I am glad to find it on Plays.org, and I have immediately saved it to my favorites. As of writing this post, I have lost one game and won one, and I look forward to winning more games. The Ludo game requires a person to have tactics and problem-solving skills. Also, it’s very competitive and can be a way of a stress-reducer.
Daily Word Search: Daily word search is a game you can look forward to playing every day. Each day the game is reset with new words, and you have to search for the words and drag your fingers across the words to form the word; you can spell these words horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Daily word search is a cognitive game and a great eye-hand coordination game.
I look forward to playing this game daily and learning new words.
Daily Crossword: If you are up for a challenge, this game is for you. This game is my everyday problem-solving and brain exercise. Although it can be tempting, I try my best to answer the puzzles and not peek at the answers. If you are a jeopardy fan, you will love solving the daily crossword, plus it is another game that helps relieve me from a stressful day.
Letter Logic: Letter logic is an enjoyable game; it helps you learn new words. This game is a unique take on the crossword concept. Rather than trying to find out what the words are, you start with a list of words. Then, find their place in the puzzle using only one letter. It’s so fun, and you can time yourself and make it more challenging to find words and put them in the right place. It’s a very tactile game, an awesome hand-eye coordination game, and an excellent logic game. Playing these games helps you zone out, making it a fantastic game to wind down and help reduce stress.
In conclusion, I always look forward to playing my favorite games and relaxing at the end of a demanding workday. There are over two hundred categories and thousands of games to choose from on the website. You can play games such as Pac chef, comics games, solitaire, sports games, retro pixel, pinball, base defense, simulation games, plus many more, and they add new games every day.
If you are a game connoisseur and up for a challenge, visit plays.org; you can play with others online.
