Best Lip Balm For Chapped Lips
My Love For Lip Balm
I love a good lip balm. It’s one of my beauty must-haves. I own several lip balms, and they are scattered round about my home and also in my bag. I have three lip balms on my nightstand, and I have two in my handbag. I don’t like the feeling of dry, chapped lips. I always make sure my lips are moisturized.
My go-to is the vaseline lip balms, and I love it because it treats my lips as well as moisturizing it to prevent dryness.
Luxe Lip Balm From Emile Cordon
I was introduced to a luxury line of lip care from Emile Cordon. I have never heard of this brand, but I was interested in finding out about their products – since I am all about finding and testing out new products.
It’s a joy that most products that I try I end up loving the product. This post is in collaboration with Emile Cordon Lip Care, but all thoughts and opinion are my own.
I received an email from a representative of Emile Cordon, and they wanted me to try their lip balm, and if I liked it, I should share with a review. Since I haven’t heard of this brand, I decided to do a Google search of the brand and see what they are all about. My first impression was their price point, but I was convinced that if a pot of the lip balm has this high price point, then they must use effective, high quality, and rich ingredients to help nourish and treat the skin on the lips. I also came across several reviews that raved their lip balm, so this made me excited to want to try this lip product.
I received three pots of lip balm from the company.
1. Moroccan Mint
2. Madison Queen
3. Charlotte
1. MOROCCAN MINT: This is my go-to everyday lip balm. I love that it is made of mint and it instantly refreshes my lips, and I love the coolness (because of the mint) it brings to my lips. It smells fantastic, and the hint of notes you get from this lip balm is Moroccan Mint and Mint Julep. This lip balm is clear on the lips and made from Kukui Nut Oil, Almond oil, Vitamin E, Squalane, and Natural Emollients. You get a 0.42 oz for $58
2. MADISON QUEEN: If I am looking to go for the natural makeup look, I reach for Madison Queen. This lip balm is tinted and have a dusty brown color; I love that it has a neutral undertone, so it is suitable for all skin tones. The notes of fragrance in this lip balm are Rose Champagne, and Strawberry Leaves. If you hold the lip balm to your nose long enough, you will smell hints of Rose (it’s actually very calming.)
This lip balm is ultra rich and infused with blends of precious oils that nourish, softens and protects the lips.
Madison Queen is a lip balm that doubles as a cheek stain. The formula is buildable from sheer to an intense look.
You get a 0.42 oz for $65
3. CHARLOTTE: Charlotte is a pretty red lip balm with a pink undertone that doubles from a lip balm to a blusher. I think using it as a blusher looks best on Fair/Olive/Tan (with warm undertone) skin tones.
The notes are Rose Champagne and Strawberry Leaves.
Just like Madison Queen, Charlotte has a buildable formula from a sheer look to intense look. It is infused with Kukui Nut Oil, and a blend of precious oils that will leave your lips nourished softened and protected.
You get 0.42 oz for $65
