The Nutritional Benefits Of Salmon

Some of the nutritional benefits of salmon include Omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and B vitamins.

Omega -3 fatty acids – Omega -3 fatty acids help in building the skin’s surface layers revealing smooth, youthful-looking, and healthy complexion. It also helps to deliver antioxidants to the skin, thereby strengthening the skin against free radicals. It also helps to keep the skin hydrated and eliminate dry, flaky skin.

Protein – For healthy glowing skin, foods rich in protein will give you the optimal skin health. Protein helps to slow down the aging process. Protein supplies the body with amino acids, which is required to make keratin, one of the structural proteins found in our skin, hair, and nails.

B Vitamins – B Vitamins have many essential benefits, which include regulating sebum production in the skin. It helps to boost hair growth, reduce lines & wrinkles, protect the skin from sun damage, brighten skin tones, and strengthen nails.

Now, these health benefits are all the more why I would recommend eating salmon at least twice a week.
