Best Treatment For Dark Spots On Face

For a while, I have shied away from using Vitamin C to fade dark spots because my skin was not benefiting from it; not until I decided to give Urban Skin Rx a try, I almost passed on it. What made me try it was when I tried their Reti-Glow Night Oil, and I saw an instant glow on my skin.

I use the Super C Brightening Serum during the day and use the Reti-Glow Night Oil an hour before bed. They both help to keep my skin hydrated, soft, and glowing.

The ingredients in both products are top-notch, and they go directly to working on your skin issues. The Super C has ingredients such as 20% L-Ascorbic Acid, Kojic Acid, and Ferulic Acid. Reti-Glow Night Oil contains 1% Bakuchiol and Vitamin E. These ingredients target hyperpigmentation, dull skin, sagging skin, fine lines, wrinkles, dehydrated skin, plus many more skin issues.

Let Talk About The Key Ingredients

L-Ascorbic Acid: Vitamin C is full of antioxidants and powerful against free radicals that destroy the skin’s structure and firmness. It is vital to add an antioxidant serum to your skincare routine to protect your skin from premature aging and cell disruptions. Vitamin C reduces wrinkles and fines lines from around the eyes and forehead and laugh lines. Vitamin C is best to use if you want to fade dark spots on your skin; when you apply vitamin c serum or cream on your skin, the ingredients slow down the melanin production, making the skin appear even-toned.

Kojic Acid: Kojic Acid is the safer and healthier option for hydroquinone. Europe has banned hydroquinone because of the harsh and damaging effect it has on the skin. Hydroquinone you can buy over in stores in the United States in 2% strength and purchase 4% with a doctor’s prescription for the use of fading hyperpigmentation. I have used hydroquinone but did not like how it made my skin look. Healthier and safer options include Kojic Acid. Kojic acid will gently fade your dark spots, melasma, sun damage and treats acne.

Ferulic Acid: Ferulic Acid is a supporting ingredient that helps other ingredients penetrate easily and deeper into the skin. Ferulic acid is a powerful antioxidant and helps with premature skin aging. It also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines.

Bakuchiol: Bakuchiol is a gentler option to Retinol. The first time I used Retinol, my skin became so sensitive, but with the latest technology, Retinol has improved its effect on the skin. Bakuchiol is a gentler form of Retinol that gives the same benefits; it exfoliates the skin and gently turns over the skin cell to reveal newer and brighter skin. Use Bakuchiol serum to reverse aging skin, smooth skin texture, and minimize pores.

Vitamin E: Vitamin E helps to firm, smooth, and tone your skin. Vitamin E has antioxidant properties to reduce premature aging and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It helps to protect the skin from environmental damage by providing a protective barrier on skin. Vitamin E soothes irritated skin, moisturizes the skin, rejuvenates tired skin, and offers beautiful even-toned skin.
