Acne – Home Remedies For Acne Scar Treatment

best treatment for acne scars

In my late 20’s I discovered that my acne was caused by bacteria, dirt, and dead skin cells (yes it took me that long to figure it out lol 💁) and not necessarily the chocolate or peanuts I love to indulge in once in a while. With the cause of my acne in mind, I did some research, and I started to exfoliate once a day and use 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Gel in pursuit to getting rid of my acne scars.

I am grateful for my experience with acne. I have learned soo much about my skin and how to take care of my acne prone/oily skin.

I am not out of the woods yet; I am still working on fading years of acne scars. I am exfoliating once a day and using Vitamin C to fade my acne scars. My skin is healing day by day, and it’s looking healthy.

Thanks for this list! Getting rid of my acne scars has been a long-time process for me -.- I guess my problem was the fact that I don't do some of the remedies as often as I should. . .

I love using tea tree skin clearing clay mask from the Body Shop as an exfoliator! Tea Tree seems to be the best product from my face responds to when clearing acne; so hopefully I will have great results for clearing acne scars.

My cousin told me to use tumeric as well! So, I'm definitely going to be giving that a try tonight.

    Thanks for the list 🙂
