I have become an advocate for the environment and the care of our atmosphere and biodiversity. So here are some quick facts about our earth and what might happen in the next 50 years if we don’t put up a severe front and tackle climate change.
Our Atmosphere And Greenhouse Gases
Our world was created by an Awesome God who put in certain elements to help protect the earth and the biodiversity, including us humans. For example, the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere are supposed to trap some heat and release re-radiated heat—the re-radiated heat keeps the planet warm. Without our greenhouse gases, the earth would be so cold and impossible to inhabit. Also, when the composition of greenhouse gases becomes out of alignment with too much carbon dioxide and methane, it changes the design of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. In addition, we have a problem of the re-radiated heat being unable to escape, which, in turn, makes the plant too hot, which, in turn, also changes other elements such as the weather, biodiversity, the ocean, and our soil.
I hope more companies would advocate for the planet’s health and implement environmentally friendly business options and operations to help curb climate issues.
Some of these business changes can include
- Switching from fossil fuel to renewable energy
- Immediately replacing raw materials from sourcing
- Using composting/recyclable packaging and labeling
- Using safe testing practices
- Water and energy conservation
