It was a terrifying ordeal that nearly cost me my life, and it happened right in front of my two sons. That moment became a turning point for me. It forced me to reevaluate my health, priorities, and how I viewed myself. I realized that to be there for my boys, I had to find strength within myself and prioritize my healing and self-love.
As difficult as it was for me, witnessing the impact on my sons was even harder. They often felt unseen and unworthy of their father’s attention and love. This pain drove me to make a change—not just for myself but for them. I realized that I needed to redefine love, confidence, and self-worth, starting with myself.
My sons have had to overcome immense emotional challenges and are still on their journey of rebuilding their self-love and self-worth. They didn’t receive the nurturing father-son relationship they deserved, which left them grappling with feelings of inadequacy. Watching them struggle was heartbreaking, but it also fueled my determination to create a brand that could inspire healing and hope. Through KSL&CO, I aim to show them—and others—that their worth is not defined by the love they receive from others but by the love they cultivate within themselves.
