I came across KoScrub on my Facebook feed. A plant-based solution for my skin. At first, I thought this must be a joke. But looking more into KoScrub, its main ingredient Konjac and the unique infusions added, it started to intrigue me.
Never before have I thought that a plant could do the job off all these expensive exfoliators and creams. But the claims made by KoScrub was something I could not ignore.
I bought the mixed kit with a plan to try out each infusion. My skin is generally quite sensitive and dry. So, I started with the pink one at first, as advised by the company.
The scrubs come in a beautiful box with an instruction sheet showing exactly what to do. I must say it was the easiest skincare product I’ve ever used.
Run under a tap for about 30 seconds and let the water soak in. Squeeze out any excess and then start massaging your face. I’ve never quite felt anything like it. It’s very soft in nature, but at the same time, you can feel it exfoliating away, and by the end of it, my skin felt completely cleansed and smooth.
I used the French Pink Clay infusion daily for about a week and started to see my skin was looking smoother and shinier. I honestly could not believe it. Next, I tried the Green Tea infusion. This is where I really started to notice the benefits. My skin has always been dry, and I’ve never quite found the perfect balance of products that compliments my skin. But after starting to use this KoScrub daily, I started to notice the need for a reduction in my other skincare products, and the dryness of my skin improved dramatically. I did use the Charcoal KoScrub twice, but for my skin, it was just a bit too much of deep exfoliation. Luckily, they now sell each infusion separately as well as in a mixed kit.
The ease of use cannot be underestimated either. Never have I had a product that is so effective and only needs water to start the process. I’ve used a combination of the green and pink KoScrub for a month now, and I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
